Hi I’m Chelsea! A twenty-something life and style blogger born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona currently living in Denver, Colorado. This blog was made to be a creative outlet to share the things I am passionate about, an excuse to explore my new city, as well as a style guide to help others shop their closets for outfits and discover their own personal style.

About Chelsea On The Daily Style

I wish I could say that ever since I was little I knew I belonged in the fashion industry but that would be a lie. To be honest, style is something new for me and I really didn’t develop my own until after I graduated from college. Growing up I was a bit of a tomboy and I think I wore the same five outfits every year. I actually remember being teased in middle school for still wearing overalls and again in high school for still wearing “bell bottoms.”
Things only got worse for me in college, where I developed a IDGAF attitude that was made clear through my wardrobe. I did 6 hard years in sweat pants and obnoxious graphic tees. However I do have to say, I did rack up one of the most impressive sneaker and fitted hat collections a girl could have.

After college I moved to Denver with my boyfriend and our two dogs where I quickly learned that if I was going to get a decent job, I HAD to switch up my wardrobe. I was completely lost when trying to piece together new outfits, I felt like I kept wasting money on things I could only wear once or things that just weren’t “me”. Then after desperately scowling dozens of fashion blogs and Pinterest flat lays I slowly began to figure out that the best way to start a wardrobe is to begin with the basics and don’t buy anything that you cant think of at least 3 different ways to style. I also believe your style should be unique to who you are. With that said and as you will see, in developing my own style I have tried to throw in a lot of pieces to represent the 1990’s desert child that I am.
I hope that my blog will inspire others to develop their own sense of style- and know that it is never too late to start.
