One of the popular trends were seeing everywhere these days is different types of subscription boxes. I’ve happened to try a number of them from BirchBox to RocksBox, but my latest fave has to be Cultured Beauty Box. It’s a monthly subscription box of beauty and skincare products in which everything is made from all natural, organic ingredients. Each month you are guaranteed to receive a new surprise with the highest quality skincare from around the world for only a fraction of the price. This months box contained 4 amazing products from Honua Skin Care and Zenziva, all made in Maui. Below is my review of each of the revitalizing products:

Hawaiian Beauty Water: I use the exfoliating glow potion in the morning after I wash my face and right before I apply my makeup. It helps to brighten and firm your skin, as well as tighten the pores. The potion has a very light fragrance similar to an original scented lotion, truly ideal for the face. This spray accompanied with the youth serum has been an excellent replacement to my boring daily moisturizer this month.

The Chocolate Scrub: This body polish meant to exfoliate and radiate is probably my favorite product in the box this month. Mostly because of the amazing smell; like a beautiful combination of chocolate and coffee. You can apply this scrub in the shower or in the tub. I personally prefer to use it in the bath for a nice relaxing evening before bed. After rubbing the scrub together in your hands, you can massage it into any part or the whole body. Let it soak into the skin for a bit to enjoy the aroma and the slight tingling sensation before completing rinsing off.

Aloha Youth Serum: This one I use twice a day, once in the morning and then once again at night. This serum you gently massage into a cleansed face and allow it to absorb for a short period of time. The bottle has a little more of a green/floral scent to it and comes out more like a light lotion. This is definitely the product I’ve gotten the most use out of because of how breathable it feels, which is great for sensitive skin like mine.

The Gold Dust: The gold dust is meant to exfoliate, revitalize, and cleanse. Immediately after washing your face both morning and night, pour a coin sized amount of the powder into your wet hands to then massage into the face and rinse. I must admit, this one felt a little strange to me at first having never used a powder like this on my face before. However, I found it to be a pretty good exfoliant which is really important to me before applying any other products or makeup. This powder is also said to be beneficial to use on ingrown hairs in the armpit and bikini line.
